Step 1: Before you begin here are some guidelines. The driver has to be installed in accordance with article 450 of the National Electric Code. It must be installed in a well-ventilated area free from explosive gases and vapors with a free flow of air and by a qualified electrician make sure you have the right driver for your lighting application.

Step 2: Always check the drivers label to make sure it has the proper input voltage of 120 volt and output voltage 12Volt or 24Volt. Check your light fixture voltage and wattage to make sure it is not above the drivers max load. To ensure optimal dimming performance, the driver requires a minimum load of 25%-80% of total capacity with Lutron, Leviton standard triac dimmers.

Step 3: Tools you'll need for the installation.

  1. UL listed wire nuts
  2. Two clamp connectors will be provided with every unit
  3. An optional MLV incandescent triac dimmer switch
  4. A 12 VDC or 24 VDC LED fixture or LED strip
  5. A wire stripper
  6. A philips-head screwdriver

Step 4: Mounting the driver select a suitable location to support the weight of the driver. Use the two heels in the drivers case it's recommended to mount the driver vertically where the wiring compartment is pointing down.

Before connecting, please must make sure the power turned off !!!

This series of LED drivers are dimmable with any standard MLV or incandescent triac dimmers.

A. The dimmer is to be installed on the input side of the driver.

B. Preparing the input connections, open the driver's wiring compartment and install the clamp connector power still off.

C. Route the input wires through the clamp connector and connect the wires using the UL listed wire nuts. The drivers case must be grounded in accordance with the National Electric Code.

D. Preparing the output connections, route the wires from the lighting fixtures through the another clamp connector for 12 volt or 24 volt drivers. The positive wire connects to the red wire and the negative wire connects to the blue wire.

Step 5: close the wiring compartment after you've connected all the wires. Test connection by applying power.

NOTE

Full safety shut off protection in case of lighting overload, open circuit, short circuit, over temperature or other fault. Unit will automatically restart after the fault has been corrected. Ensure that wiring is correct before test in order to avoid light and power supply damage.
